The odd thing about this frame is it has downtube shifter braze on's! This is unusual for a bike in the late 1990's, and I've never seen another Dream frame with them. It includes two Team Mapei water bottles! They are cracked and taped together so they're not for use, but they look nice.įrom what I can determine, this first version (without B-Stays, or the Lux/HP designation) was made from 1997-1999. It has it's original paint matched Precisa straight blade steel fork (the crown lugs on this one are more pointed and cooler than the standard Precisa lugs though). It i a race bike made from aircraft aluminum, and "clover" shaped tubing similar to that of the Master steel tube shape. This is a tough to find Team Mapei version of the 1st generation Colnago Dream frame.
